A day in the life of a subwoofer.

Hey, my friends call me Kick, but my full name is Kicker Comp VR. I am going to walk you through my life! I don’t care if you care or not. You will listen. I am a very VERY loud person. Some people think I'm annoying. I have a twin brother who is ALWAYS with me. We like to have contests to see who can scream the loudest, it’s usually pretty even... We are both on life support and attached to this little boxy machine that says "Hifonics" on it. If we were ever unplugged from it we would die. Well I guess we would go into a coma, we wouldn’t die. I love that machine though, it helps me yell louder. I think its helping my brother yell too though, sometimes I get mad at it and I will stop yelling. We have moved a lot in our lives, me and my brother have been together since birth. We used to be in this really really dark place and we only saw sunlight every once in a while when our dad would open the door to our room. Now we moved to this big open space and we have 3 of our very own windows to look out all the time! I like this place a lot more, I feel like I can yell a lot louder here!!! And now I get to see everyone stare at me when I yell, I like the attention. Well that’s my life! I didn’t realize how boring it was until I read this.. Oh well, I'm going to go have a scream match with my brother!! Later!

NIKE air force one review

Today I am going to express my feelings about a product that I love, Nike Air Force Ones. I have gone through a LOT of shoes in my day, and hands down my favorite kind are the Air Forces. I have had three pairs so far and I will probably continue to wear them until I am forty years old or so. When it comes to comfort there are few things better. They just feel awesome on your feet. They are probably the most stylish shoe out there, and they have been around since the 80's so obviously they did something right. I love looking down and seeing them on my feet. There are literally hundreds of different colors. I go with the all white ones. Nike doesn’t even have to make claims that this product is good or that it’s better than anything else, why? Because they know that customers already know this to be true, why waste time on advertising, they sell themselves. My last pair I had lasted me almost two years, very durable shoes. I expect my current pair to last just as long. They are a bit spendy at 90 dollars but you get what you pay for definitely. You can find this shoe at any mall pretty much. Foot Locker, Champs, Famous Footwear, the Nike store obviously, and probably others. Other shoes just dont compare in my opinion, try them out I'm sure you will feel the same. Hope I have just helped you in becoming another Nike loyal customer, I am and always will be. Its not just shoes either I love all their clothing. Thanks for reading.

MINNESOTA AT CHICAGO

The Vikings are now 1-5 after Sunday nights 39-10 loss against the Bears. Devin Hester lit the fuse with a 48 yard touchdown pass from Jay Cutler, and then a career best 98 yard kickoff return. Hester left the game with a chest injury. Cutler threw for 267 yards and two touchdowns. By halftime the Bears were up 26-3. Donovan McNabb threw for 177 yards and completed 19 of 24 passes. The Vikings lost John Sullivan (center) and Phil Loadhold (right tackle) to injuries in the third quarter. Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier said he would have to evaluate the quarterback position but McNabb said he will probably be in there on Sunday against the Packers. A little change of pace compared to the second half chokes. This time we were dominated before the first quarter even ended. More information at ESPN.com. After this display I’m sure I speak for the rest of the Vikings fan base when I say this but I am getting very skeptical. We play the undefeated Packers on Sunday and we need to step it up if were going to stand a chance. This team needs to figure each other out and work together better. I personally think our best bet is to take McNabb out and put Joe Webb in. I can see him being our next big star player. He has potential for sure. All we can do is pray for next week’s game!

How to: Hook up SUBS in your car.

INTRO
Ok, in this blog I am going to teach you how to hook up a basic subwoofer system in your vehicle. I don’t know about newer models of cars though, the newest year I have ever hooked one up in was a 2001. If your car is newer my advice is to just have Best Buy do it.
GETTING READY
Ok, first I will list the necessary equipment and parts. You will need; an aftermarket CD deck, a subwoofer in an enclosed box, an amplifier, a wire harness kit for your deck, a deck adapter kit to fit the new deck where the stock one was, and a complete system wiring kit including a power wire, speaker wire, AUX wires, remote wire, and a ground wire. You can find all of these at Best Buy.
DECK INSTALL
Ok, first things first, putting the new deck in. To remove the stock deck you have to pull the dashboard cover off and you should see the screws holding in place. Get the screws out and pull the deck out, then unplug the stock wires and the antenna. Now you have to put together the deck adapter kit. There should be a manual for it which is coded by vehicle make and year, find your vehicle and put it together as shown. Next you get to the super fun part, splicing all the wires from the new deck to the wire harness kit you just bought. Its color coded, pretty self explanatory. Just make sure you splice the remote wire from the sub wiring kit to the remote wire on the deck otherwise the amp will not turn on. Then plug in the auxiliary cables from the sub wiring kit directly to the back of the head unit. Then, tape the AUX cables and the remote wire and run them to where your system will be. Now just put the dashboard back on and if you did everything right, it the deck should light up and work with your speakers.
SUB/AMP INSTALL
Ok, if you want your amp mounted on your sub box now is the time to get that done. Once the amp and subs are in place where you want them you have to run the power wire to the battery. Unplug the positive battery terminal and reattach with power wire in it. Do this with the fuse already in the fuse holder. Now once again run this wire along the floor of your vehicle to the trunk or wherever the subs are. Now with the ground wire, find a good place to ground within reach of the amp and ground it. Now you should be ready to fire up the amp. First hook up ground wire to the ground terminal on the amp so you don’t fry it. Then the power wire, remote wire, and AUX wires. Now attach the speaker wires to the positive and negative terminals on the box and then also match it to the amp.
GO MAKE SOME NOISE
Ok if everything was done correctly when you fire up your car you should hear the rumble of the subs and when a song comes on they should work! If not just read through these steps again and make sure you didn’t forget anything. Now all that’s left to do is tune the amp according to how you want it to sound. Once you get it down you can start doing crazy custom stuff like this:

third post

I don't really like blogging. I just don't know what to write about. If i had something to write about it would be better. That's really the only problem I have with it. And I'm guessing that's the only problem I'm gonna have in the future. I would rather do this than be in a traditional writing class though. Its just easier to do. Writing is good to do though, but it's also good to know how to do this, it could turn into something you do all the time and a good way to just write about how your feeling.

I'm into loud systems in cars and I'm pretty pumped because i just put my subs in my Blazer and it pounds. I found a website online that sells car audio stuff way cheap. Like a third of what you would pay at Best Buy. The website is called sonicelectronix.com. If your into that stuff check it out theres some crazy deals on there. I ordered a 2000 watt Hifonics amp off of the website for 230 dollars it would be like 900 at Best Buy. And I have two 12" Kicker CVR's and it sounds sick. I don't know why but I have always been into super loud systems. Something about them, I just love feeling the music. Here's a picture of what the sub woofers look like.

Second Post

The second task is to answer the following question; What did you do this past weekend that relates to the subject matter on which your blog will focus? Well, once again I don't have a main focus for the blog, but its just going to be about life basically. This past week i got myself into some trouble. So I thought I would write a little bit about that. I'll start my story about a year ago, when i started looking for a new car. I'm all about flashy stuff, and my dream car was a Lincoln Town Car, after about 8 months of saving up from my job, I was finally ready to buy my car. I found the exact car i wanted. Same color, same year, everything was perfect. On top of that i found it for pretty cheap considering what others were selling for, and I bought it right away. It looked identical to the one in this picture. And at about 6 a.m. Saturday morning, I ran into a retaining wall on a highway going about 70 and totaled the car. On top of that I was arrested for drinking and driving. Luckily it was not a DWI, I blew a .07. Thank god. I learned my lesson from this little scrap. I'm going to miss my baby.

first post

Q:How do you connect with the world through the Internet?
A:I connect with the world on the Internet with facebook, by seeing what everyone else is doing. And letting people know what I'm doing. Also there is world news everywhere and even if you don't hear the news first there is usually always a post on facebook about it. Youtube is another good way of staying in touch with the world, a lot of the videos are from different countries. But I would say facebook is number one for sure.
Q:If you could take your blog in any direction, what would it be? And why?
A:I really honestly have no clue, I've never done this before. I guess just however I'm feeling or whats on my mind that day. I don't think there is any one topic to constantly write about. I will probably change it up every day. Probably a lot about music, cars, and high school. I'm also planning on joining the marines so i will probably talk about that a little bit too. Gonna try to make it something at least a little interesting. But its weird because I'm not talking to any one so i don't really know. No clue what your interested in.
